Tomas Aviles’ goal in the 95th minute helped Inter Miami sneak a late 1-1 draw with NYCFC despite playing without Lionel Messi for the third straight match.

With a 3-2 victory over Toronto FC earlier today, FC Cincinnati won the MLS Supporters’ Shield for the first time in the history of the team.

With three games left in the regular season, Cincinnati has 65 points. If they win all three, they will break the previous mark of 73 points established by the New England Revolution in 2021 for the most points in a single MLS season.

He received a yellow card tonight, which results in a suspension for Miami’s away game against Chicago on Wednesday.

In an open area on the right, Ruiz takes the ball and appears to be on his way to giving the hosts the victory, but his shot smashes off the underside of the crossbar, bounces just in front of the goal line, and is cleared away!

What a fantastic conclusion that could have been.
