Live updates on the Israel-Hamas conflict: Hundreds of Hamas fighters and Israeli forces engaged in fierce gun fights throughout the night in at least 22 different places.
Over 300 Israelis were killed in a sudden and extensive attack launched by the Palestinian militant group Hamas on Saturday. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to reduce Hamas’ hideouts in Gaza to rubble in response to the attack.

Envoy: Missing British Man “In Gaza” Following Surprise Hamas Terror Attack
According to the country’s ambassador to Britain, a British man “is in Gaza” after being abducted during a Hamas attack on Israel, according to news agency AFP.
Tzipi Hotovely stated to Sky News, “I know there is one British citizen who is in Gaza at the moment,” without specifying whether or not it was thought that he had been abducted.
“The Israeli government is doing everything we can to help those who are held hostage and every citizen who is taken is returned,” she stated.
The missing guy was not identified by the ambassador, but Jake Marlowe, 26, whose family moved to Israel from Britain two years ago, said his mother had not heard from him in that time.
British Man Missing Following Hamas Terror Attack On Israeli Music Festival
The Israeli embassy in the United Kingdom announced on Sunday that a British national is missing following a Hamas attack on a music festival close to Gaza.
The embassy said that Jake Marlowe, 26, went missing early on Saturday.
He was serving as security at a party, according to his mother Lisa, who told the Jewish News that she last spoke to her son via text message.
The Union Minister is working to repatriate Indian students from Israel.
Meenakshi Lekhi, the Union Minister of State for External Affairs, stated on Sunday that the Prime Minister’s Office is keeping an eye on the current situation in Israel and that “we are on the job” to bring back Indian students who have become stranded there.

Mission For Next 24 Hours To Evacuate All Israelis From Around Gaza: Army
Israel’s army said Sunday it aims to evacuate all Israelis living close to the Gaza Strip within 24 hours as it deployed tens of thousands of soldiers to fight Palestinian militants who had infiltrated into Israel, reported news agency AFP.
“Our mission for the upcoming 24 hours is to evacuate all residents living around Gaza,” military spokesman Daniel Hagari told reporters, adding that fighting was still on to “rescue hostages” held by militants in Israel.
He said the evacuation had to be done after a proper “scan of the territory” to ensure that no militants were present.
“There are tens of thousands of combat soldiers in the area. We’ll reach each and every community till we kill every terrorist in Israel,” Mr Hagari said.
